Sarah Lawrence Visual Resources (formerly the Slide Library) is an image library and branch of the Esther Raushenbush Library. Founded 25 years ago by the Art History Department, Visual Resources works closely with Sarah Lawrence faculty to provide image resources to support the curriculum of the college.
Our slide and digital image collections are available to all staff, faculty, and students of Sarah Lawrence College. The collections encompass every major area of the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and the Humanities, with special emphasis on the disciplines of Art and Architecture. Visual Resources also supports the historical documentation of these disciplines through cartographic materials, photographs, and other supplementary materials.
